Notes on Model Runs 2, 3, & 4

Model Run 2

ADCIRC Simulation Isidore 2 was completed using meteo
information from the Unisys web site posted as of 09-24-09Z
This was the concensus track at the start of the ADCIRC simulation.

Missing pressure values in the prediction were estimated based on existing
presures and correlations between observed wind speed and observed pressure
(NOAA Tech Mem NWS NHC 22, 1988)

Results of the flc formatted movie and max surge height during the event
are in meters. Results of the plotted hydrographs are in feet NGVD.

As of 9/25/02Z the storm was significantly downgraded in terms
of strength although the track was very similar to Isidore run2
We are currently completing run3, which represents the updated
track and downgraded storm parameters.

Model Run 3

The hurricane wind/presure simulator used was PBL using the specified
track information.

Results of the flc formatted movie and max surge height during the event
are in meters. Results of the plotted hydrographs are in feet NGVD.
